Jul 02 - Jul 8, 2014
The Troop won the lottery for a crew of eight for the Coral Reef Sailing advanture at Sea Base Florida. The sailing yacht that we were on was the New Horizon for a week. It has a large self-contained galley and dining area where we prepare wholesome meals from the fresh or canned foods supplied by Sea Base, We did have fresh fish one night.
Our captain instructed us in navigation, fishing and sailing, and we remain on board for the entire trip. We snorkeled reefs, we fished, and sailed, in the beautiful Florida Keys.
